Techie Bingo!! No more printing Bingo Cards, Yes Please!
Bingo and No Bingo Cards, What???!!
We just tested on finding Equivalent Representations (fractions/decimals/percents) and I will be sharing out some of the fun activities that we did along the way. However, today I am going to help spread the word about online bingo. My students love it and so do I! Once made, I do not have to prep for it ever again (ok, unless I want to make changes:))! Quick shout out to Siri (my instructional coach for two years) who shared this with me!! Thank you Siri!To begin, you will need to create your questions and answers. I put them on a google slide so all I have to do is press play. I have attached the google slides that I used. It includes the following:
1. Fractions to Decimals and Decimals to Fractions
2. Fractions to Percents and Percents to Fractions
4. Percents to Decimals and Decimals to Percents
5. Mixed Number to Improper Fraction

Next, you will need to enter the answers into the electronic bingo website called Bingo Baker. If you want to manage your cards more easily, upload more images, or print more than 8 cards, you will need to create an account.
Bingo Baker will allow you to add images, create 5x5, 4x4, and 3x3 cards and find games already created.
You do have the option of printing the cards as well, but I love love love the electronic version! All the students do is click their matching answer on the card and they are ready for the next question!
Here is the Bingo Link for you and your students to play the above Bingo Game.
I share this link in their google classroom and it will open a new card for each student!!
A Bingo game will not be complete without a recording sheet. They must show all their work to win a prize (usually a jolly rancher)! They have a blast every time we play and do not even realize they are working. I call that a win win! I hope you give Bingo Baker a try!!
Man you kidding? It still fun playing traditional bingo anyway! But yeah the fun with online egames binog is far more different!
